The federal government has no right to overthrow or disregard the Constitution

The point of my last blog, if anyone was wondering, is this--I protest the federal government assuming more control of everything without being willing to put their own house in order. If they cannot even keep their own house in order, why should they assume the right to take more power and control into their own hands?
Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the federal government has the right to force citizens to buy government healthcare. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that the government has the right to force citizens to give up their rights to free speech, protest, assembly, or even their rights to protest against government tyranny and injustice. And nowhere does it say in the Constitution that the government has the right to throw the constitutional rights of the American people out the window, let alone assume and control what the people want and need.
And no, I do not agree that secession from the Union is in any way justified, but if the federal government fails to adhere to the wishes of the people of my homestate of Texas, it may be, to some regrettable extent, entirely a last option here. Why not? It is worth considering, since Texas was at one time a separate republic from the rest of the nation.
What Barack Hussein Obama and his fellow socialists fail to recognize is this--the people of America do not wish for this nation to become a socialist society. Rather, they hope that the ills of this nation can be cured while the nation itself remains a democratic nation, under one constitution and under a government willing to listen to the will of the people. If Obama would have listened more to the people that elected him to office, and not to these socialist despots in Congress, he would be in a more favorable position than what he finds himself in now. Sadly, he never will. The whole nation could come crumbling down on his damn head, and still Obama would refuse to budge.
The people are tired of the government telling them what to do, and so am I. That is all I have to say on that.

    yay!

I really really like your post! You hit the nail right on the head & I agree with you! I'm an ex-Texan from close to Houston...now I live close to Houston again, but in Alaska!!  If Texas ever seceded we may just have to move back there! I'll bet that state would expand & explode, don't you?! obama is way out of his league, after all...is all he & his cohorts know is 'organizing' the Alinsky way. It sickens me. Thanks for stopping by my site too!

@tialoca_talks - Well, personally, it doesn't matter to me whether or not they do put their house in order--that is, straighten out and end corruption and injustice--or not. They still have no right to assume control, I do agree with you on that issue.
